Japan's textile and apparel import market

Japan imports 25,200 tons of 6307900 from China in Apr, surged by 186.4% year-on-year and 243.4% month-on-month. According to some downstream exporters, there were more mask products exported to Japan in Apr, and a high proportion probably closed to cotton gauze masks. However, as the epidemic is gradually controlled, the export may decrease somewhat. Some Chinese manufacturers who produce cotton gauze said that orders for gauze masks gradually decreased in May, so the export volume may decline in May.
