Legislation introduced for long-term US-made PPE contracts

US Senators Rob Portman (Republican from Ohio) and Gary Peters (Democrat from Michigan) recently introduced a bipartisan legislation to strengthen efforts to onshore production of personal protective equipment (PPE) in the United States by requiring the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) to issue long-term contracts for PPE made in the United States.
