Sateri commences production of lyocell fibre in China

Cellulosic fiber producer Sateri said in a recent press release that it had successfully begun production of lyocell fibre in China in a collaboration with Asia Symbol, the country’s leading producer of pulp and packaging board.

Sateri is the world’s largest producer of viscose fiber, a natural and sustainable raw material found in everyday items like textiles, baby wipes and personal hygiene products. Its five mills in China collectively produce about 1.4 million metric tonnes of viscose fiber yearly. They also operate a yarn spinning mill.
