On Apr 12, Sinopec Information Office announced that Sinopec Yanshan Petrochemical Co., Ltd. and Yizheng Chemical Fiber Co., Ltd. successively put into production their third melt-blown nonwoven fabric production line on Apr 10 and 12. So far, Sinopec has built six melt-blown nonwoven fabric production lines, which can produce 14.7 tons of melt-blown nonwoven fabric per day (including 10.2 tons of Yanshan Petrochemical and 4.5 tons of Yizheng Chemical fiber), and can help to produce 14.7 million medical plane-type masks per day, which will provide strong support for the people of the world to fight against epidemic.
After Yanshan Petrochemical Co., Ltd. created a miracle of 12 days to build and put into operation the melt-blown nonwoven fabric production line on Mar 6, the third production line of the melt-blown nonwoven fabric project was put into operation successfully at 23:23 on Apr 10. The project started on Mar 13 and lasted for 29 days from Apr 10, which added more help to the prevention and control of pandemic and a community of common health for mankind.
Two production lines of the first phase of Yanshan Petrochemical melt-blown nonwoven fabric project, which was put into operation in early-Mar, have been running smoothly for more than a month, with a daily output of 7.2 tons and a processing operating rate of 120%. With the successful operation of the third production line, the daily production has reached 10.2 tons. By 8 a.m. on Apr 11, 205.5 tons of melt-blown nonwoven fabric had been produced, of which 6.5 tons of melt-blown nonwoven fabric for KN95 masks had been successfully produced, helping to increase the production of 200 million masks.
