ES fiber was first developed by Japan CHISSO Corp and is a new type of polyolefin composite fiber. It has a sheath-core structure. The sheath has a low melting point and good flexibility, and the core has a high melting point and high strength. After heat treatment, the skin is partially melted to play a role in adhesion. At present, the fiber is mainly used for hot-air nonwoven used in sanitary materials, warm filling materials, filter materials and other fields.

ES fiber on the market is mainly divided into PE/PP and PE/PET based on raw materials, and the product specification is mainly 1.5-6D.
