Vietnam announces to initiate anti-dumping investigation on PFY from China, India, Indonesia, and Malaysia

On April 6, in response to applications from Vietnamese domestic enterprises, the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Vietnam issued an anti-dumping case announcement and decided to formally initiate an anti-dumping investigation on polyester filament yarn originating from China, India, Indonesia, and Malaysia, involving products under HS code 5402.33.00, 5402.46.00, 5402.47.00. The dumping investigation period of this case is the whole year of 2019, and the damage investigation period is from 2017 to 2019. Applicators suggest levy 17.0% of anti-dumping duty on the goods from China, 54.9%, 60.6% and 6.4% for the goods from India, Indonesia and Malaysia.
